Horticulture Farm Monitor Pilot

Seeking participants

The Victorian Government’s Horticulture Farm Monitor Pilot aims to help businesses and industry better understand the costs and returns of running a horticulture business, particularly responding to the challenges of the pandemic.

Farm businesses that participate in this pilot will benefit from expert data collection and evaluation that will help to understand key metrics in their business, such as the cash position, profitability and identify areas of risk. When starting out, looking to grow or consider a change, the information generated through the Farm Monitor pilot can be used to understand current performance and what is needed to achieve business goals. For example, an individual report can be helpful when approaching the bank or identifying areas for future investment in technology.

Industry initiatives and government policy making will be better informed and targeted with this information.

If you would like to know more or you are interested in participating in the pilot, contact Andy Clark from Agriculture Victoria on andy.clark@agriculture.vic.gov.au or 0436 804 656.
