Fruit Growers Tasmania Annual May Conference 22-25 May 2014
FGT is pleased to present the program for the 2014 Fruit Growers Tasmania May Conference, to be held at the Launceston Country Club Resort between 22-25 May 2014.
The 2014 conference theme is “Growing our Markets”, with a focus on market insight and development from the farm gate to export. Key note speakers will be Global Food and Drink Industry Expert, Professor David Hughes and Specialist Plant Pathologist Dr Ken Eastwell from Washington State University. Additionally there will be a full range of R&D presenters and a panel discussion.
Once again the conference program will feature a Berry Field Day on Thursday 22nd May and two action-packed conference days on the Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th May. On Sunday 25th, there will be a cherry focussed field trip in the Tamar Valley region.
As well as the technical sessions there will be plenty of opportunity to network with delegates, speakers and sponsors at the Network drinks on the Friday night and the Gala Conference Dinner on the Saturday night.
